Our final session of the project was on Saturday 16th of March. Participants worked on their final pieces and we now have a wonderful collection of work ready to exhibit.
Here’s a bunch of us outside the National Gallery. David and Anne gave us a tour, looking at how painters have used the human figure to tell stories and express emotions and ideas.
This week saw lots of experimenting with different media.
Anonymous asked: Hiya! Where is it you run the life drawing classes? Is anyone allowed to join?
It’s just a short project - we’re only running 4 sessions at the moment. We’d love to do it again so we’re going to look at costs at running regular life drawing sessions.
We may have some spaces left for the remaining sessions - these are for trans and intersex people only. If you email admin@genderedintelligence.co.uk we’ll get back to you about it.
Hello All!
Anne from London Drawing here- hope you are feeling inspired following our last session-
Here is info on an exhibition of photography on transgender bodies which is currently on at Hamiltons Gallery, WC1 until 1 March. There is a comprehensive list of images with the info on the website so if you cant make it along you can still see the work:
See you on Saturday!

Anne and David talk about how some contemporary artists use the body in their work.
